The principle characters in The Time Machine were The Time Traveler, Weena (an Eloi who The Time Traveler protected), the Eloi as a race and the Morlocks as a race. Presently that you know the principle characters, I will clarify their motivation in the novel and their practices. Weena was by a wide margin the most intriguing character with regards to the novel.
